We
had a fantastic time at our Autumn Winter fashion show last Sunday,
over a hundred guests were welcomed to the Ashbourne store where the
windows were flanked with marabou feathers and oversized pearls to
reflect the events 'Great Gatsby' theme. Everyone enjoyed champagne,
delicious sweet treats and the very popular chocolate fountain before
the catwalk presentation.
The fashion show portrayed the seasons
key trends, ranging from 'Moody Blooms' to 'The Gentlewoman' and 'Take
Cover', each scene showcased looks from international designers such as
Dries Van Noten, Belstaff, Paul Smith and Moschino as well as
introducing menswear to the Young Ideas catwalk for the first time.
After
the show a raffle was drawn before guests took a closer look at what
they had seen on the catwalk. Hair was crafted by Sally Montague Hair
Group who opted for twenties inspired chignons to compliment the
twenties theme. Jouneys a la Carte, the Uttoxeter based travel experts,
provided the champagne while Mackney Photography were on hand to
photograph the whole event.
The show marked an important stage of
Young Ideas history and was the last celebration to be held at the
store before the move to The Green Man on October 8th. A huge thank you
to everyone for making the event such a success, we look forward to
welcoming you to the new store very soon!
